How To Reach

Kalimpong is located at an altitude of 1250 metres and is at a distance of approx. 67 kms from Siliguri. Tourists can avail jeeps, buses or even taxis to reach Kalimpong crossing the full stretch of Teesta Valley. The National Highway, 31A, leading to Kalimpong is also the only road link of Sikkim with the rest of the country.

Foreigners visiting Kalimpong must possess an Indian visa. No special permit is required for, either travelling or trekking inside Kalimpong. However, necessary travel documents need to be shown, when and where required.

Kalimpong can be easily reached by road, rail or by air.
